Electronic Calls, Predator Lights, Night Optics, Decoys, Decoy Dogs and Coyote Running Dogs may be used during the hunt in both Classes. That includes Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia for the 2023 Tournament!ħ. Hunters in BOTH Fat Dog and the Coyote Derby may hunt North Carolina, South Carolina and adjoining states. During the scheduled Carolina Coyote Classic, coyotes may be hunted in any county in North and South Carolina, as well as adjoining states. Participants must possess a valid hunting license. Participant’s license may be checked when they bring in a coyote to be weighed.Ħ. Coyotes must be harvested during the days and times of the scheduled hunt.ĥ. WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO A POLYGRAPH at the end of the tournament.Ĥ. Participating teams cannot combine kills. Fat Dog and Coyote Derby are COMPLETELY SEPARATE. If any hunters on your team is not available to hunt any night, your team may continue to hunt the tournament. NOTE: MAXIMUM OF 3 HUNTERS PER TEAM for the Coyote Derby and up to 4 hunters per team in the Fat Dog contest but you must all hunt together. If they intend on shooting with you, they must register for the tournament on your team. Landowners can tag along without being registered as long as they are not a shooter. When hunting in teams, each member of the group must be registered or the entire group will be disqualified. Each participant must be registered for this hunt.
#COYOTE CLASSICS REGISTRATION#
Registration for Coyote Derby will be $200 for 3 Hunter Teams.ģ. 100% of big female registration will be paid back as prize money. If you wish to register for the largest female coyote contest, it will cost an extra $2.00. Portion of each registration will be put into a the prize money purse. Registration Fee for the Fat Dog Contest will be $35.00. The hunt will officially begin at 7:01 AM., Friday, February 17th, 2023 and will end at 12:00 PM on Sunday, February 19th, 2023.Ģ. No registrations will be taken during the hunt. Further details and instructions will be announced and explained further at the time of registration.ġ. You will need to take a picture with your harvest with either a smartphone or camera to be submitted at the time of the kill to match the number of coyotes you bring to weigh in.
